Join the VFSS at the Climate Strike March, Sep 20

It’s that time again! The Friday Climate Strike March, Sep 20 at 12 noon. Vancouver City Hall to the Art Gallery. The VFSS has been designated a spot to stand on the roadside and sing to the marchers — there will be a lot of kids! — as they go by. Same place as last year: the Walking Figures public art sculpture on the east side of Cambie, just south of the Broadway SkyTrain station. Meet there at 11:30 am.

We’ll join the marchers towards the end of the march and pick up other groups like the Left Coast Labour Chorus and Solidarity Notes as we go by.

We need: singers, instrumentalists, song sheets (Jim to provide).

Singers are also invited to a get-together on Sep 11 at 7:00 pm at Jim Edmondson’s place, 404-908 West 7 Ave (Buzzer 25), to choose our songs for the song sheet and have a quick practice.
