November 11 VFSS Community Event

Time: Singers to meet at 1:30 PM, formal event starts at 2:00 PM

VFSS, with Solidarity Notes and Left Coast Labour Chorus, is leading participatory singing before and after the “Let Peace be Their Memorial” event on Nov. 11. Meet us at 1:30 pm at the corner of Chestnut St and 1st Ave, near the south end of Burrard Bridge, before the event.

Volunteers will place beautiful handmade wreaths for Children, Refugees, Indigenous, Conscientious Objectors, Medical & Aid Workers, Education, Women, Post Traumatic Stress, and the Environmental devastation from war. There will be songs and anti-war poetry.

This is an outdoor event, so please dress for the weather!
