Michael Pratt and Lynn McGown are folk singers who have been an integral part of the VFSS for decades. Their Celtic Woollens clothing store doubled as a drop in venue for musical jam sessions and a warm intimate venue for concerts. Over time it evolved into the Open Door Music School – a community space for the enjoyment of music. The thing that excites them most is when a new student walks through the door. There are wonderful possibilities to be explored and achieved.
Open Door Music School provides a warm and supportive space that will enable any one coming through the door to fully enjoy those wonderful moments of joy that suffuse our souls through playing music.
Offerings: Michael and Lynn are available as performers and have a fine repertoire of English, Irish and French Canadian traditional material and sing in many other styles too.

Recordings: Michael and Lynn sell their recordings at the Open Door Music School and VFSS’s Wednesday Night Folk for $10.00. When sold at Wednesday Night Folk, 50% goes to the VFSS.
