Barry was born in India and has lived in Hong Kong, Fiji, U.S.A, Pakistan, England, and Canada. By turns a seafarer, IT professional, musician, and writer, he performs with musical group Fraser Union. He is a cofounder of Georgia Strait Music Camp (formerly Georgia Strait Guitar Workshop), and enjoys singing in the bass section of Rhythm ‘n’ Roots Choir.

Offerings: Barry teaches guitar, privately and at music camps. He also teaches classes in ukulele, ensemble, and songwriting. He has recorded three solo albums, and published a book of stories and songs with a common theme of connection through music. CDs and books are available by contacting him through his website.
