The Lazy Jacks Shanty Crew, based in the home port of Vancouver, British Columbia, is an “unprofessional” (amateur) group of singers and musicians who enjoy singing sea shanties and sea-themed songs together. We are also members of the Vancouver Folk Song Society, and inspired by the “original” shanty crew of the VFSS, carry on the tradition of singing together, mostly shanties and mostly acapella. While the line-up for the Lazy Jacks has changed over the years, our enthusiasm and enjoyment remain constant.

We’ve sailed the Seven Seas to perform as far away as Brackendale and Port Townsend and various points in between.
